Our policies on how we deal with air filling, rentals, refunds, servicing and returns are listed below. If you have any questions about the Scuba Guy's Dive Shop policies please contact us.

 

  • Scuba Guys’ Dive Shop provides high quality breathing air for scuba divers, fire departments, mines, and industry and paint ball. We use premium air filters with on line CO monitoring to ensure high quality breathing air.

    tankWe will gladly fill your scuba cylinders as long as the following conditions are met:

    • All cylinders must have current hydrostatic test
    • All cylinders must have current Visual Inspection Sticker
    • We will only fill DOT, CTC, TC certified cylinders.
    • Cylinders are filled at <600 PSIG per minute to service pressure.
    • Cylinders will not be over pressurized.

    We will not fill cylinder that:

    • The manufacturers stamped codes cannot be read.
    • The valve has no pressure relief device or burst disk.
    • Have dents, bulges, line corrosion, pits or heat discoloration is present.
  • Products:

    • Scuba Guys’ Dive Shop rents out top quality equipment to our students and certified customers as required; we have 25+ sets of rental equipment on hand at any time to meet this need.

    Conditions:

    • All rentals must be booked with an advanced booking to guarantee of availability of rental equipment.bcd
    • A deposit will be required to hold the equipment. Bookings cancelled within a 72 hour period will be forfeit the deposit.
    • All rentals must be paid at the time of pick-up and a security deposit (pre-authorized Visa or Mastercard) will be held to ensure undamaged and clean return of rental equipment.
    • GST and PST will be added to all rentals. Rental money may be applied towards the purchase of the rented item(s) within 7 days.
  • Products:

    • In stock/ regular stock Items: Exchange only or credit note1 ONLY on any returned items that are in original packaging and new condition within one week of purchase.
    • Gift Certificates: No Refunds - exchange only.
    • Special order, custom fit or clearance items: NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE

    Courses*: *This policy applies to ALL courses, classes, open water checkout dives, seminars, events and dive charters.

    Conditions:

    • Students who wish to drop out of a course they have signed up for must give at least 2 weeks notice and return all unused course materials to receive a refund (less a $25 Admin fee)
    • Students who cancel or drop out of a scheduled course with less than two weeks notice will not receive any refund, unless due to a medical reason and a doctors note is provided.
    • The doctor’s note must clearly state that they are not able to scuba dive due to health reasons.
    • Students who miss a class need to contact the shop to see if they can be caught up with their class and to make arrangements for private tutoring and instruction. Cost for this varies by program.
    • Students who fail to show up for a class/course will receive no credit or refund for the program, consider it forfeited and will be billed for the entire course fee.
    • Students who fail to show up, cancel or forfeit their space and wish to take the course at a later date may do so but are still responsible for paying for the course they failed to attend.
    • Any course cancelled by Scuba Guys' Dive Shop will result in a 100% refund or credit to the student with no admin fee (customers choice)
    • 1CREDIT NOTE POLICY: Credit notes are not transferable and are valid for 6 months from the time of issue at which time they expire and will be removed from our system - NO EXCEPTIONS
  • We all know that scuba diving is an equipment intensive activity, and that your equipment must be in top shape to perform well. Scuba equipment manufacturers recommend and so do we, that regular servicing be done annually on your equipment by qualified and certified technicians to keep the performance and safety at peak levels.

    Regular maintenance and servicing will help to protect your investment in your scuba gear, after all, it is life support equipment and probably wasn't cheap. Regular maintenance and servicing whether it be replacing a fin strap or mask strap, inspecting your BC or dry suit or regulator serving, all extend the life of your equipment and give you peace of mind that the next time you are out for a splash that your equipment won't let you down.service

    Keeping your scuba equipment properly serviced according to manufacturer's specifications is easy to do with the help of Scuba Guys' Dive Shop and our Factory trained and authorized technicians. We will do our best to ensure that your equipment, equipment that you depend on, is up to its best.

    Scuba Guys' Dive Shop has Factory Authorized Technicians qualified to tune and repair almost any make of scuba gear on the market. We are authorized by several manufacturers to do everything from minor adjustments to complete overhauls. We carry a large inventory of repair parts for many makes and can usually have a short turn around time to get you back in the water quickly and safely.

  • Scuba Guys' Dive Shop does it's very best to satisfy our customer's needs but unfortunately not every sale is satisfying to the customer, in order to work with our customer's concerns, an understanding of our sales policy will be helpful.

    Scuba Guys' Dive Shop strives to make each customer sale a pleasant and rewarding experience to do this we will;

    • Gladly exchange purchases that have manufacturer's defects. (Damaged items are not manufacturers defect and will not be dealt with in this manner.) If made within 7 calendar days from date of purchase with the original receipt
    • Exchanges can be made for sizing or fitting errors for another same product if made within 7 calendar days from date of purchase with the original receipt (This does not apply to a custom order item see below)
    • Refunds for cash are not permitted, only exchange of product or if product is not available a store credit will be issued if made within 7 calendar days from date of purchase with the original receipt
    • All returns for exchange must be unused and in original packaging.
    • Custom orders require 100% payment before the order will be placed
